TONY HAMILTON
SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE INFO
In 1979 Antony Hamilton had left art school and was working
at his brothers roadhouse on the Nullarbor. During this time he heard stories
about the Nullarbor Nymph and in 1992 began working on a sculptural installation
about the story, Miss or Myth, which was eventually purchased by the
National Gallery of Australia. For some years after this Tony continued to work
on the Nullarbor Nymph theme creating works directly derived from the story
and others more subtely related.
